7:00am – Race Day Packet Pickup & Registration
8:00am – Kids’ Fun Runs (1/4 mile for ages 6-under, 1/2 mile for ages 7-12)
8:30am – 5K and 10K Runs

Running of the Elk is stroller friendly!
Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Runner Swag

All participants receive a moisture wicking event t-shirt, commemorative acrylic finisher medal, post-race entertainment, pancakes and fruit, free photo downloads, games and vendor booths.

Awards

Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers in the 5k and 10k, as well as top 3 in each division.

Divisions

• 5K/10K –  9 and Under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+, non-binary.

• Kids’ Fun Runs – Ages 12 and Younger. Non Competitive (Untimed). Ages 6 & under will run 1/4 mile, ages 7-12 will run 1/2 mile. Entry includes a short sleeve cotton t-shirt and medal for all finishers.

Beneficiary

Proceeds from the Running of the Elk benefit the Elk Grove Youth Sports Foundation, a non-profit created to ensure that all Elk Grove children have an equal opportunity to be involved in sports. Fed.
